How would the back of a website look like?
Chances are big you visit these sites on a daily basis and you are familiar with the iconography they use. You naturally see these pages in one way; from the front. But what if websites would have a back, out of our sight, yet still there? Back of a Webpage thought about that and designed a back for a few of the most iconic websites.

I have just arrived in Nice. If Paris is the distinctive old lady wearing a hat than Nice is the old man with a walking stick. Nice is the seaside town where painters like Matisse, Picasso but also sculptor Rodin found inspiration.
The blue of the Mediterranean looks washed out. The broad Quai des États-Unis is flanked with huge palm trees looking like pillars supporting the deep blue sky. This boulevard makes me think of the Ville Nouvelle in Casablanca. Silhouettes of pedestrians are reflected in the glass doors of former Hôtel Beau Rivage, at number 105, where painter Henri Matisse stayed during his first visit to the city.

Wall Street
Wall Street runs from East Broadway to South Street on East River, through the historical center of the financial district. Wall Street is the home of the first permanent Stock Exchange; over time Wall Street became the name of the surrounding geographic neighbourhood.
Anchored by Wall Street, New York City is the financial capital of the world. In 1789, Federal Hall and Wall Street were the scene of the United States’ first presidential inauguration.
The loss of The World Trade Center in September 2001 has spurred development of the Wall Street area on a scale that hasn’t been seen in decades.
In november 2008 US shares have fallen sharply amid increasing concerns over the state of world’s economy.
World
Here is a selection of photographs I have taken during many trips to: Cuba, Peru, Guatemala, Morocco, The Netherlands, India, Turkey and the US.
It is a continuing exploration of color, time, light and space. The atmosphere is at times almost surreal – it is this certain strangeness that fascinates me.
